Can i add a spare 8800GTS to my system?

Hi.

I've got a spare 8800GTS lying around that wont sell for much, so was wondering if i could add it into my second PCI-E slot for use with PhysX etc along side my 5830?

Yes

I'm running an ATI card with an Nvidia in the same system its works great both using the latest drivers from both companies,

Yes there are some driver conflicts but no BSOD, there are some conflicts getting both cards to work with each other.
Put the 8800GTS into your system then install the nvidia drivers should be OK

I'm not 100% sure how physX work tbh because I'm running the nvidia card to run Folding@home and ati for gaming in my system but I'm sure some one else with know about it more on here :)
 
Cool. Thanks for the help. Got it working :)

The extra heat at the moment isnt making my case any cooler though! :eek:
