On first boot up in windows 8 on my new pc I created a Microsoft account but don't want this now, how can I delete it, I went into account but cant see a delete option, just want pc to boot up to desktop no password entry request for my account. Its an administrator account.

Thanks

Also how can I make sure all browsers stay open I have on boot up next time I boot up and in same place, like Skype, thunderbird email, and windows etc.

Sounds like it's the only account you have on the machine, therefore not letting you delete it.

You could try creating a 2nd admin account, login under that then try deleting the original account?

Not sure if Win8 lets you not have a password set i'm afraid, and unsure about setting window locations on startup, there's probably a 3rd party app which would allow you to do that.
Edit: Found something which appears to be what you're after here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/...w-position-of-an-application-via-command-line
