Can i download Windows Vista Business from anywhere?

Hey,

Through my uni i can get windows vista business for free, i "bought" it on the msdn academic alliance website, got the key and downloading it now... however it is taking ages.. its at 24% and been downloading since 8am. I have a 8mb connection so the d/l speed is greatly reduced.

Anyway just wondering if there is a way to download the iso of vista business faster?

If not, i'm fine trying to be patient =)

Even if there is we wouldnt be able to tell you as the sites will most probably contain dodgy material

No there isn't. You could ask your uni for media, they probably have a few discs burnt.

Could you maybe download it from Uni over their superfast interweb connection on a laptop, or borrow a friends if you don't have one?

Since you pay for/own the CD key and the licence to use it rather than the software itself, I’m sure it would be fine to download it elsewhere as long as you are using the key you got from your university.

No, no it wouldn't be ok. Not only that, but they key most likely work either.
