Can I fail an MOT if one of my reverse license plate lights fails?

Question in the title.

Feeling extremely lazy to get this done myself...

Number plate light - Yes
Reverse Light - Not required

Where I get my MOTs done, they changed the bulb for me mid MOT and charged me £1 for the bulb

. If you know it's out, just ask them to do it beforehand.

Can confirm this is also the case.

(side note, must get round to fixing it as it's not the bulb at fault...)
