agree job centre useless, i said i wanted IT job & that i didn't drive and was told by bloke on other end of phone, "go to adviser and get a basic job like one in maccy D's to get a job to earn money to learn to drive", and no help with jobs in retail. it's better looking off your own back.
so much for this gov wanting to get people out of cars onto public transport. also look in local press for basic job then as things improve move on
it's touch, but there's something out there for you.
