Ok so me and my g/f bought a Wii today and it was only when I got home did the question of how I would get the sound working spring into my head

Then I couldn't get any picture on my TV through either using the component cables or the Scart adapter

Ok so my setup is

Pioneer PDP5090 with no speakers
Cambridge Audio 340R with Quad Lites

Any tips on getting both the sound and picture working would be handy

component lead. video to the tv, audio to the amp. but you said you cant get a pic with component or scart....are you sure it isnt faulty?

Works fine on the g/f's TV.

I think there's specific settings that need to be made on the Kuro's for it to pick up a picture though and that's what I need help with.

Thanks for the cable advice though will give it a go

For componant you may find that you need it set at 480p before the TV will pick it up as a valid signal.

Try plugging just the green lead (from a componant cable) into the yellow composite input on your TV - then change it to 480p in the Wii menu, plug the component cable in as normal and switch your TV to the component input... may work
