What where your favourite sweets back in the day?

You know the ones in the jar that the shopkeeper used to weigh and put in the little white paper bags.

Mine were: Bon Bons, Nutty Crunch and Tom Thumb Pips and Pearl Drops!

That website is so much more expensive than other places though.

KARATE BELTS, white mice, cola bottles etc. far too many but I collected 1p and 2p coins just so at the end of the week I could grab a bag full on the way home from school.

The same shopkeeper still runs the corner shop I used to walk past and I stepped in last year to have a chat. Bought the same sweets too.

For those that have a macro card, you can go and buy the large shop size tubs of pretty much any sweets from bon bons and humbugs to mint imperials and cola cubes for £2-£4 depending on brand and tub size (usually 500 pieces for coated chocolate ones or 1-3kg).

Good times......
