I have Xilisoft Vid converter, can I just copy and paste, drag and drop my .vob file onto the dvd? Or must it be done with a dedicated program?

Thanks.

Its easy to do with ImgBurn (free):

Download and install.
Go to mode > build
press 'browse for folder' button.
Select folder root directory (i.e the folder that contains the two audio and video folders)
Change from create image to direct burn to DVD.
Press the burn button.

So, it is NOT possible to just drag and drop it onto the DVD then? I just couldn't be bothered downloading any software at the moment.

That wasn't the point I was making. All I wanted to know was if I could do it with no more software.

It should work as a data burn but dont quote me on that, I normally use nero or deepburner pro, they have options for burning dvd files correctly so they work in ordinary players. I mean windows burner is pretty lame for that kind of stuff.

Should work, the vob might need to be less than 1GB though, and some dvd players are picky about the file system in use. I'm not sure what file system windows drag and drop uses, but i'd imagine most dvd players will accept it. As long as the vob is standard compliant, it probably won't matter too much.
