Hi. I need new tyres on the rear (255/30/19) of my 335i at present we have run flats all round however this has cracked 2 sets of rear alloys and I am told if I ditch the run flats I will have a smoother ride plus it will not crack my new alloys.

I don’t really want to change the front tyres as they are basically brand new and it would be a waste to throw them away for nothing, the problem is they are run flats so can I mix them with non run flats on the rear?

Also is 185 GBP each a good price?

(I don't normaly watch it) But there was a thing on watchdog about this and the 19" alloys cracking.

Yep I know, I am hoping that bmw will give in soon.

MadMossy, 185 is quite cheap for GoodYear F1's
