Hi all,

I've got a brand new Asus H81M-E motherboard, it has VGA and DVI ports so I was wondering using Windows 7 can I output to two sources? I want both sources to display the same image (one is a monitor and the other a VGA projector)?

I don't have the PC setup yet to test but if it's not feasible I'll have to look at a way round it.

Yes it will be possible

The monitors are DVI and the projector VGA so I assume I can just go;

VGA (motherboard) to VGA (projector)
and
DVI (motherboard) to DVI (monitor)

with standard cables and just change the relevant settings in the Control Panel of Win 7?

Yeah, also there's the keybinding of winkey + some letter (not sure which) which will allow you to duplicate the screens automatically :)

Should be possible but there are some cases where the hardware can only drive less simultaneous displays than their are connectors i.e. you can have HDMI or DVI and VGA but not HDMI and DVI or HDMI, DVI and VGA, would be more unusual not to be able to do DVI and VGA though.
