Be honest, was it a carrot?

It doesn't always work but works a lot. Most people think of a carrot and we don't know why exactly. It may be due to the sums making you think of the colour orange. It is interesting all the same though. IMO.

Done this to loads of people over the years and the answer most typically is carrot, don't know the science behind it but you will more often than not get carrot as your answer.

You don't even need to do the sums - kind of weird but a quick ask of a few people to name a vegetable and they all said carrot.
