is it possible to check how much bandwidth i use per month? i have no idea and would like to know as i might be changing soon and everyone has a limit of somekind

Bear in mind DUMeter will count everything that goes in or out of the network interface on your PC - it probably can't distinguish between network traffic, and it certainly can't account for other machines.
If you're using a router that'll do SNMP, try PRTG/MRTG/some RRDGraph derivative.

Hardly a common question though, I'd suggest searching this forum.

And your ISP is ?

Ok, so I'll try and answer this one myself. It's Tiscali.

So why not take a look at this and see if it tells you what you want to know.

http://www.tiscali.co.uk/help/ecare/viewusage.html

- Our Terms and Conditions will be updated by 7th February to make it explicit that customers who use more than 30GB per month may be affected by Tiscali’s Fair Usage Policy.

Any customers concerned that this may apply to them, should routinely check the View Usage section of the My Account area on the Tiscali website, which gives a detailed breakdown of a customer’s individual usage.
