my mobo broke i rang up ms and typed the code in they gave me a new one. vista works fine

Linux for the win (again)

Not sure if there is an EULA for the various Linux distros I use... but if there is, it'll openly promote copying the OS and giving it to other people for free, and installing it on as many computers as I wish.

If you replace your mobo under a warranty replacement scheme then you are still legal.
