Hi all,

I want to test a software setup on my current media pc (see sig spec) to act with the same performance as an intel atom D510 processor with 4gb DDR2 memory.

Could this me done? If so what sort of setting should i adjust?

A solution may be to use a virtual machine with the number of cores and ram required. Check the processor frequency and adjust the cpu multiplier and FSB to give the correct atom frequency 1.66GHz. You may not be able to replicate the cache though.

Some google-foo reveals that the ATOM SDK has some emulation tech built in, does this not perform that function?

Otherwise, nkata is completely right. For setting cache.... might be possible through linux using cgroups, but sounds like more trouble than it is worth.
