Can I upgrade windows 7 to 10 using ....

    Hi, can I use someone else's genuine windows 10 disc and put my windows 7 product key in...will this work?. . as an upgrade?
    I upgraded MB to MSI B450 A pro and usb ports are not working.

    It should work. Did you previously have to sign in to your machine with the old MB using your Microsoft account, as this will make it even easier to upgrade.

    Yes I did, also can sign in with new MB but as I said, not recognising usb..ie not showing in my computer..
    My mistake..that's just my computer password.

    You can use a password to sign in to a local account on just that machine, or use a your Microsoft password to sign into that machine and any other PCs you use.
    If you sign it with the MS password it recognises the machine and allows you to upgrade.

    Thanks,so my password I use before I get to home screen is the same thing.
