Sky+ HD box 500GB (Samsung) with remote control, power cable and hdmi cable. Running latest sky software £45

Some ones selling the above and my old basic box has been playing up a lot lately.

I realise i dont have a HD package but could i buy this and pair it up and just get SD channels on ppv and HD on any free ones?

thanks

hey jez long time no chat? how are you these days?

ps why would i want that one? whats the difference?

and thanks chocolate

The samsung is just an older model, there is little point going for it as they are all worth pretty much the same amount. As time moves on the older boxes gradually stop getting newer software releases, and are slower. Take a look at how bad the old thomson HD boxes seem now, they cant even run the new software at all! :)

I payed £15 to upgrade are normal skybox to a skyHD box direct from sky...
(The £15 was for the postage cost and skyHD box was free ;))

(I Wish I off know that the 2TB skyHD box was coming out at the time I ordered ,as I would have payed the extra £49 and got the 2TB one  )

It's in the image above. Select the SKY+ box, with self set up and it's £15, ff they install it for you, it's £60. Box is free.
