Can i use an used older pc hdd in my ps4?

Hi all.

I havent had a pc for nearlly a year now sinve it started faulty so i have mainly been using my ps4.
I keep getting ps4 hdd is full so i am looking up what to use as an extra drive.
Seeing how my pc is no longer in use for the time being, can i use an older 500 gig pc hdd?
And use this as extra storage on my ps4?
If so what do i need and how do j do it?

Ps4 usually has a 500gb hdd. Best to just replace the drive with a 2tb one

So can i use a used 500 gig pc hdd and attatch that too thr ps4?
If so do you know how i do it?
