Hi there,

I just bought an Xbox 360 Elite and I want to connect it to internet, however the modem/router is downstairs and my room is a floor above so I can't used an ethernet cable. On the other hand, 360's wireless adapter is like £50 and I can't afford to pay for it right now. However my computer upstairs has a wireless adapter (and is connected to internet) and I have internet on it. Is there any way I can connect my Xbox to my PC (Windows 7 Professional) via ethernet to be able to connect to internet?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes there is, you would have to share your current Internet Connection and plug in your xbox via ethernet to allow it to get a dhcp address. Works perfectly fine.

I have wireless on my computer which is bridged with the Ethernet adaptor to my 360, works perfectly :)
