Guys i don't fully understand if my Z370 motherboard has enough lanes to be able to use three M.2 Nvme drives

My Motherbooard has 2 build in M.2 NVMe slots and i was hoping to also be able to add a third one by using an adaptor something like this

This is my motherboard https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-maximus/rog-maximus-x-formula-model/spec/

Would this work ?

If you use the second full length PCI-E slot, it appears to support bifurcation (4+4) * so you could use an adapter which has (or supports) 2x M.2 slots. Since this slot is close to the graphics card, you'd need to check it fits.

* This option would take 8 lanes from your graphics card.

The third full length PCI-E slot shares with the third 1 lane slot, which I believe you have to manually disable if you want more than 2 lanes (i.e. the full 4 lanes available).

This slot is close to onboard power buttons 'n stuff, so you'd have to check the adapter won't interfere with them, or vice versa.
Thanks :)
