I find the best music comes from Metal and prog rock bands these days.

I've given up on GD for laughs these days...I just visit the Music forum when I want a chuckle.

Seriously - Kanye's great, he can rap (better than a lot of people), he knows how to put out a good tune and, most importantly, he makes songs that make me want to boogie.

Can I just add that I don't dislike Kanye West per se, its just his new song is bloody awful with the worst cat sat on the mat lyrics ever.

I agree that it's not his best...But when he can do tracks like Never Let Me Down, Spaceship, All Falls Down, Breathe In, Breathe Out, Gold Digger and so on, I find it easy to forgive his occasional lapses.

I was trying to picture Bono and Mary J do "One" by Metallica... then i realised which song you meant

Definately had Bono doing the "Darkness imprisoning me, All that I see, Absolute horror" bit
