Hi guys,

Been OCing my E8500 on IP35-E and I've reached a stable OC on CPU with at 4.2Ghz (9.5 x 442 FSB). I've bumped the NB and SB up one notch each.

Issue is that at this FSB I can't boot with both sticks of my OCZ Reaper, even if I run the RAM underclocked and at loose timings - just the the one.

I tried upping the NB volts a little more but no luck.

Can anyone advise where I should go from here?

Hmmm. Does the board have a DDR2 Ref Voltage option? Can't rem if the -E has it.

Tried +0.1V and +0.2V but makes no difference.

Just tried booting with the ram in 1:1 (884mhz) and its fine. Interesting...

I know both sticks on there own are good for 1150mhz... but just not together....hmm

You really should have mentioned that you were trying to run the memory way over spec.
