I can't seem to boot into my OS, I can see both my hard drives in the bios but it doesn't want to do anything with them.

The following steps happen:

I get standard blue ASUS P6T Deluxe logo where you get press del to enter bios

followed by the Asus Express Gate screen which if I enter I cannot see the hard drives.

I then get the standard dos type commands as the PC boots up but....

The first one I get is the following (which I have never seen)
Marvel 88se63xx/64xx adapter BIOS Version 3.1.0.12
Resetting Controller 1....... [OK]
Initalising Controller
Spin Up Group 1....... [OK]
Initialising RAID component...... [OK]

This whole thing takes about 5 to 10 seconds again before the following flashes on screen
Marvel 88se63xx/64xx adapter BIOS Version 3.1.0.12
Virtual Disc
[no virtual disc]
Physical Disc
[no physical Disc]

The blue P6T deluxe motherboard screen flashes up again for a second and this is followed by another message:
Marvel 88SE61xx adapter BIOS v1.1.0.L72a
Initalising.....

Then finally it says:

Reboot and Select proper Boot sevice or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

I haven't had any problems like this before and my computer was working fine last night, I'm using Vista if that helps.

I seems to want to try and configure RAID but I haven't set it up to I just have two disks, my main with the OS and the second for backup of my data.

I have also done a COMS reset but that didn't change anything.

Just a thought, check the SATA interface is set to IDE mode in the BIOS. It could be set to either RAID or AHCI which requires additional drivers.

This belongs in HD section.
