can someone help me with OC and ram

new to OCing !
ok
6300
ds3
1 gb geil ram ddr2 6400 800mhz

ive put +3 on ram voltage
increased chipste 0.1v
put dram timmings to 4 4 4 12
set multiplyer to 2
but the ram is still running at 600, is this wrong guys? anyhelp from you would be great!!

ok it goes up when i up my fsb its currently on 7 x 300 so i can go all the way to 400 is that right?because 400FSB is 800mhz which is my max memory??

download something like cpu-z - then post the screenie of what results you are getting - i'm sure then someone will be able to point you in the right direction of why this is happening.

Yip that's right.

And 800Mhz is the stock speed. You can expect to get near 900Mhz without touching the timings or vdimm again.

can i just ask, i have the FSB @ 300 now, what sort of increasement should i use 5/10?or higher?

Depends on how much patience you have. It should do 370x7 without needing to touch the vcore, so you can probably jump straight in there, and then up it 10Mhz at a time.

just set it as you said ive upped vcore to 1.45v its 49c/50c under load.looking good so far considering this is my first OC.
