Can someone please confirm my M2 SSD fits this motherboard please?

I have a 500GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus M2 SSD (Manufacturer link).

I'm thinking of purchasing a MSI X470 Gaming Pro motherboard (manufacturer link), amongst other things and I'm looking for confirmation that these two are compatible. I believe the SSD is compatible with the motherboard and will run at its full potential, would somebody be so kind as to check that for me?

You may wish to consider the MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon instead:

It's cheaper and arguably the better board.
