I've been speaking to someone who wants to return their Asus Transformer Prime to Newegg and he's in the returns window but they won't accept it because the tiny sticker that has the serial number on it has gone AWOL. This sticker starts to peel off with day to day use and so messing around with cases and skins can easily cause it to come off. Now, this would be fine if it was just the tablet he provided but he (obviously) sent it back in its original box with all the documentation which means that he has provided 3 identical serial numbers; One on the label on the back of the box, one on a sticker inside of the Warranty card and finally one that can be viewed by going into the settings on the Prime itself.
Surely they have to accept this and refund him? To me it sounds like they're sick of having them returned and are using any excuse not to have to deal with them.
