im simply just wondering.. if when you rma a card, can they actually tell if its been overclocked??
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. if you put the origional hsf back on properly and the main fault isnt anything connected with that part then shouldnt the warranty should be honoured?
if you bought a brand new car, switched exhausts but then the steering goes the garage cant void your warranty because of the exhaust mod.... or can they?
Zefan said:Couldn't be further from the truth. When replacing a HSF it is incredibly easy to damage the card. Putting it in car terms would be like this... you replace the brakes YOURSELF then the brakes fail because you installed them wrongly and you write off the car.
