Hi,

I would like to connect my headunit and ipod to a satnav system, so i can control them using the touch screen.

Is this possible? what would I need? I already have the headunit and ipod.

It will work if the sat-nav is capable of operating the head-unit and ipod.
In other words, probably not.

The tomtom go x1x series can do it, well at least my 910 can, the cable costs about £13 from ebay the window mount has a line out, so if your HU has a line in then all is good

I use my 910 for all my music anyway though as it has a 20gb hdd built in.

Well it i can control the ipod and has inbuilt volume control, cant see what else you'd want to control that'd require the HU to be connected to the tomtom

In fact, i just ordered one of the said cables and it was only £8 inc delivery, not £13, I don't even have an ipod but it was worth buying for that price for when my gf is in the car with hers.Will report back on how good it is
