Just out of pure interest I was watching an auction for an Asus striker 2 extreme 790i mobo on the bay to see what they were fetching these days and this one has just gone for £166!! There were 23 bids too. Is this the going price??

If so I might sell mine on and my q9650 and ddr3 ram and get meself a nice i7 setup!!

WOW! would not expect hardware like that to go for that much! unless bidders were engaged in a ferocious bidding war!!!

Blimey thats madness.

My first ever pc upgrade was on my old 939 setup and I took an athlon single core chip to an Opteron 185.

shold have kept it all now when i look at the prices the stuff is selling for these days

dont quite get why all this would be so expensive - too new to be collectibles, to old to really justify the price their sold at

That's quite expansive, i wouldn't pay that much for a old board even if that was new.
