can u RMA if there is a minor fault on your motherboard?

i am currently using an abit IP35 Pro XE

the problem that one of the ethernet ports are broken this is not an issue because i only require one but can you possibly claim an RMA?

Of course, it's faulty.

The shop or manufactuer don't have to know that you only use one!

But you gotta think is it really worth it, If you don't need the second? I wouldn't just for the hassle of taking your comp apart and risking damage to other components.

RMA it.
Sod's law will apply.
The working ethernet port will cease to function the moment it's urgently needed and a replacement won't be readily available.

well yes i think i might email them but it is overclockers

i know they do not have the board for sale anymore but will they off me credit or replace with Bgrade/similar board?

The board will normally be returned to Abit for repair then returned to you.

oic well seems like too much hassle if its a minor fault atm tbh however it is very uncommon for this to break down would overclocking and heat cause it to be faulty?

To be honest the IP35 is one of the best boards I've every seen we have sold thousands and there return rate is extremely low, To high an overclock normally kills the whole boards not the lan port
