Can u see stone henge from a 303?

Yes, im pretty sure on the way to southampton airport many many years ago (approx 20.5 years to be exact) , dropping someone off, i have a pic of me mooning on a layby somewhere on the a303 with stonehenge in the background. If i remember correctly it had also been snowing


those crazy days as an old young 19 year old, barely a couple of years of having a driving licence.

I wish they'd hurry up and build the tunnel under them, I've seen the top of the stones enough I want to see what they look like in the ground.
 
Did I hear that the tunnel under it got cancelled? That's a shame, looking up through the glass roof would have made it much easier to see, albeit a different perspective
 
its not a tunnel going under them is it? how would they get approval over that without people complaining and trying to block this
 
A very, very long time ago, I stopped to stretch my legs and have a cup of tea from my Thermos in the old car park at 7am on my way from North Hertfordshire to Devon on a Yamaha RD200.

Micron expansion pipes were great for hooning around on sweeping A roads, but got somewhat annoying after the 3rd hour, even wearing earplugs.

although i didnt even think about it cancelled because of cost.

People are very protective of the stones and its surroundings
 
It would be fun to sit on the top of the stones under an invisibility cloak and point a red laser dot at peoples foreheads who are gawking.

Could you see Stone Henge from a Cessna T303 you ask? Yes you could if you flew at a very low altitude, and at as low a speed as you could. Trouble is I am pretty sure one of the bigger stones has been hollowed out to install a Patriot missile battery for terrorist attacks such as flying a plane at the stones. One of the stones has a lid on a hinge that would go up, like a big Zippo lighter, on detecting a plane on an intercept course and shoot you down. If you gave them notice you were on your way they might ley you through without blowing you out of the sky though.
