Hey Guys,

I submitted an article to digg about 12 days ago, do you know if you can bump the post to make it seen by people again? Can you also edit the post, I cannot find an edit button?

Also do you know of any social bookmarking sites or similar sites where you don't need to register to?

Thanks in advance

Digg... FOR POWER USERS ONLY!

Even if you manage to submit a popular article before the big players your doomed.

I really do call shenanigans!

Well i published something fresh, that i had written by myself. I just want to learn how to bump it up so people can see it again at the top like when i first submitted it.

As i said forget it, Unless you have a big networl of fans + friends, Digg (not so much digg, but its users) is very Biased to a few users. And not to mention that big websites use more than a few to submit one article (Joystiq, and cracked.com spring to mind)

thats not to say that i enjy my daily news from digg and other like minded websites.

Also they seem to have a very powerful algorithm, so very few dupes get through and things like that.

BTW, I HATE KEVIN ROSE

I don't think I do, could you please help me understand it?

Digg is either:

For quirky news that geeks will like

or

for a clique of people (mostly SEOs who got in early) to feel important as their own stories constantly triumph over everyone elses

You can't expect to get anywhere with digg if you don't have a few hundred mutual friends or fans. Even then you'll need to shout them a few times and have a good wind behind you and perfect linkbait...er I mean content...

Anyway you stand no chance - especially now you're trying to resurrect a story on digg.

Totally agree, and for serious stuff, I advise you to check out /. (slash dot) requires a bit more technical knowledge, but the users have a much more wider understanding of TECH, and to think digg started off as a TECH site, now its basically turned into an off shoot of /b/
