can you delete a profile from a 360?

only just got a xbox 360 and it signs me in to my mates account, i have one but always need to switch... is there away of deleting?

also is it best to copy the games over to the HD? what are the pro's and cons of this?
 
yes, go to system settings, memory, profiles then delete it.

also, depends on the game as some work better where as some work worse.. never experianced the worse part but from what i've read. :-D

You can delete by going "My Console > Settings > Memory Settings > Gamer Profiles" IIRC.

It won't make you sign in automatically though, that's somewhere in you're individual profile settings. Don't recall the exact location of the top of my head though.

Aye, it will do but i'll bet you get more pop-in as the game streams data from both the dvd drive and a cache on the harddrive at the same time. When you install it it limits that stream of data to just the harddrive
