Can you get replacements for bags 4 life?

Bought one from from poundlife last year, it's ripped near where the handle attaches

Happened to me also, so many times. Bag for life? No chance!

I just take a suitcase these days which holds my special brew also.

Works well until I trip over the suitcase after a few too many.

Many places that offer a "bag for life" will actually replace the bag for free if you take a damaged one to them.

They just don't bother to overly advertise the fact to any extent because they make more on selling the things than they do replacing them, that and they know that people cba/would be embarrassed to do so.

When my car got stolen off my drive about 6 years ago, the thing I was most upset about was my OG Morrisons jumbo bag for life was in there :( Not kidding in the slightest. My Tesco's jumbo bag for life was in there too, but strangely I wasn't bothered at all about that. True storey.

This customer must have passed away. Not seen her for years. She used to use carrier bags which were covered with duct tape. More duct tape than bag. One time, her grandson was shopping with her and she got her carrier bags from her handbag and handed them over to him. He was embarrassed and asked her why do you use bags in that state. She gave him a blank look

To be fair it's not a lifetime guarantee
isnt it? I genuinely thought it was and iirc when they 1st bought them in back in the day iI thought the signs said as much.

Admittedly I never never tried to replace one as usual i lose the damn things before they wear out, but i absolutely would expect a replacement if ever i asked to trade one at the supermarket...... surely the clue is in the name?

My mum only gave up her launch dyson vaccum 12 months or so ago. it had a life time guarantee and she was on 1st name terms with the local dyson engineer. it was a bit like triggers brush with few original bits left. for years now the engineer had told her she had an open offer to accept any replacement model she wanted brand new (but without the life time warranty). She finally accepted a year ago as the old model was too heavy for her to use now.

edit yes i am that sad!

the Bag for Life, which is replaceable for free if damaged
