as per title. or other asdl provider, doesnt have to be bt.

also if you have one router/modem per line can you install another router/modem

Provided you have separate phone lines (line rental, master socket etc) you can have as many connections as you want.

What do you mean? You can only connect one modem to one line.

2 Phone Lines = 2 seperate ADSL lines.

However, get the ADSL from the same provider and you can have "bonded" ADSL Max for 16Megs download.

thats fine. :)

Most ISPs aren't crazy enough to try bonding Max lines together, except (AFAIK) AAISP...

ADSL24's site said:
Please note that due to the way the 8 Mbps services work (e.g. one line could get 5 Mbps and another 7 Mbps)

Leaving aside that you'd probably start contending with yourself for VP bandwidth, performing any kind of bandwidth control across multiple lines each of which could change their maximum throughput is...awkward. It'll work fine if the lines aren't rate adapting much though.

You can't get ADSL on DACS. I managed to have half of the main street where I work dug up as a result of demanding a new line installed as BT had no capacity and had already got a DACS on our first two lines.

Cisco do multi-WIC routers too if you're willing to part with a kidney.

Nildram did bonded ADSL, but i am unsure if they still do it now.

Can't see any mention of it on their website, and I'm sure I remember a press announcement about them no longer offering it. They pushed the FreeStuffJunction bonded ADSL on a CD setup too.
