Hi I am going to have a go at putting 2gther my own PC for the first time. I am totaly confused to what PSU , motherboard , I need to buy as I am wanting to use IDE standard hard drives in my PC and this sata thing is really confusing me

I will be wanting to overclock my CPU and graphics card as well....

Any way this is what I have decided on so far.

Antec Nine Hundred gaming case

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 + Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 pro

7900 GTO 512mb Graphics card

Corsair 1GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x512MB) 4-4-4-12.

Now I have chosen all these parts above from choosing blind from reading all the info on these forums. so I was hopeing some 1 can give me the all clear that the parts I have orderd will work well 2gther ?

Now I no this overclocking thing can get quite confusing so I wont go in to that ! but from my reading the memory installed on the PC is very inportant regards to getting fasters speeds from CPU etc.... so Will the memory listed above work well or do I need to upgrade it to 1066MHz at the latencies of 5-5-5-15 ??

Now as all ready mentioned I would prefare if some one could recomend or choose a PSU and motherboard for me as I have no idea which 1s to get.

I am on a buget here guys ! and as all ways It looks like I am gona be over it as most of us do, so please bare that in mind when recomending me one.

thanks to any one who takes the time out to help me ! really do aprecaite ;)

I'd probably pick up the 6300 as it is cheaper than the 6600 and since you want to overclock it won't matter much(most seem to reach around the same sort of speeds) and this then means that you can get 2gb Ram. This is roughly what I'd be picking based on the parts you have selected, the PSU is good quality and modular. The motherboard is one of the best overclocking motherboards available although bear in mind that it only has one IDE port(like most now I think).
