Can you help me upgrade my PC with £500 budget? (Please help)

Hey all,

I have a budget of £500 and i am wanting to do some upgrades to my PC.

These are the parts inside my PC -

case: Corsair graphite 230t
Motherboard: asus m5a97 r2.0
Graphics card: zotac gtx 1060 6 core with 2 fans
CPU: AMD FX8350 8 core 4HZ
ram: 2x Hyper X Fury 8gb DDR3 (I have 16GB)

My friend put together this list on what he would do with £400 which would save me £100.

How would you upgrade my PC with £500?

I am looking for Performance over looks however a blue and black theme if possible!

Looks ok, however I would be binning those fans and led strips and putting it towards faster RAM. Ryzen likes faster ram.

Unfortunately 3200+ RAM is about double the price of what you have there.

Would 3200+ ram be worth investing in? Since i do have £100 spare to spend

Yeah it makes a difference, certainly worth trying to get at least 3200.

Apparently you do need faster RAM for Ryzen however your friends spec is only for 8GB, so double the price would be 16GB.

Example.
