I'm thinking of finally upgrading after what is it? nearly 10 years? noooo can't be lol.

Is there anything I should be changing on this shopping list?

I think the PSU is a little overkill, you have plenty of room and that's including the 4.5ghz OC etc. are you planning on SLI?...also a gold psu has better efficiency, Get a 750W EVGA G2: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/evga...plus-gold-modular-power-supply-ca-012-ea.html

g2 are much better than g1 with these psu's.

if its budget then oc have a great deal on this atm:

970 which is £258 + you get £20 cashback from asus!.

EVGA gold certified, 10yr warranty instead of your 5. 1 pound cheaper. And if you're not a massive gamer there's no reason for you to have 850w unless you're planning cf/SLI

A 850w psu is massive overkill for that system and the Seasonic psu is not a particularly good one. You are paying for the name. It's only bronze rated and there have been several reports of it being a noisey unit. The EVGA Supernova G2 750w is a much better unit and is gold rated, fully modular, has hybrid fan control and a whopping 10 year warranty. Should you wish to add a second GTX970 in the future it will also be more than enough for that. Normally I would have suggested a 550/650w psu but the EVGA GS and G2 models are still out of stock.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £105.49
(includes shipping: £10.50)

Could you resize the image in op or place in spoiler tags. Images cannot exceed 1280 pixels width Thanks.

Also the case is quite expensive... Do you really need all that space? Far better cases available that's a whole lot cheaper.

H440 is great or I'd you want to go cheaper s340.. I can really vouch gor the s340 as I had one myself. Pleasure to work with and cable management is so easy and neat even for a beginner.

Fair enough. After all its you whose got to look at it. . Just seem a bit weird to spend so much on a case when you could add it to the performance.

I'm thinking i'll be keeping the case much much longer than the components i'll be putting inside it, So may as well get what I really want over what I really need at the moment.
