Can you improve this spec?

The other bits i've got, i'm just considering the following components:

I'm not sure whether the 930 is worth it over the 920?

Also, i'm fairly stuck on the RAM choice, would it be worth going for the higher latency but higher speed 2000Mhz OCZ instead? (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-153-OC). I've seen bad reviews about the 1600Mhz stuff on here (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18144235). Would patriot be good despite the high latency?

Also, is there any 5850 branding thats better than another? If so, whats different? I'd quite like to overclock the card slightly, so if one has improved cooling it would be good

Will the 650W PSU cope with all of the above?

Thanks, Andy :)

ive seen loads of threads with complaints obt OCZ golds (someone claimed in every 100 sticks, something like 42 are faulty ... nuff said).

that said im running ocz platinums, and the only issues ive encountered with them are motherboard related, not RAM related.

If its in stock, the 920 is the better buy

The PSU should be fine. If youre thinking of crossfiring later on, most say 650w is enough, but i personally think 750w is a safer bet.

not really clued up about different types of 5850 ... you could look at the pictures i guess XD

Thankyou for the advice so far :)

After reading the link about power consumption it looks like i'll probably be safe with the Antec 650W.

I think i'm gonna go with the 920 over the 930 as well, its £45 cheaper

How does the Geil Black Dragon 6Gb stack up against the Patriot Viper 6GB (same timings and speed)

Also would C6 be noticeably different in speed to the C8?

Which 5850 should I go with?

im surprised no-one on these forums have mentioned it, the amount of specs that have been suggested with that motherboard!

Ok, I *think* i've more or less decided on the spec now.

I went for the HIS 5850 as it seems to have a pretty good cooling arrangement, but if the sapphire comes back in stock i might re-consider though.

The Patriot Viper 6GB (1600MHz) Low Latency seemed best from reviews (and is probably worth it for the extra £3 compared to the standard viper 1600mhz) and looks like it will overclock nicely if I choose to.

I wouldn't bother getting a UD5 over what you've already picked. Also, I'm pretty jealous that you have a better looking case than me :p
