I'ce circled red what I'm concerned about, as it almost looks like the inside of the fitting is going to come through the tube wall. Is it a case of the water is distorting what the fitting looks like or would you guys recommend I re-do the tubing for more slack?

Please, ease my mind!

Hard to say from just a picture, but if it was me and I was concerned I would drain my loop and check it. Last thing you want is a leak. :)

Edit: If your tubing is 1/4" thick the fitting should not be able to go through the tubing, I thought you were concerned the tubing was slipping out of the fitting due to tension.

It looks like there is a little bit of warping.

Rather than make the tubing longer (and having slack all over the place)
Slap a 45 degree elbow in there ?

when I built my first 10/16 system I fitted a spare bit of tube to one of them fitting and gave it a yank, need a damn lot of force for them to pull out mind you!

That's a good shout, thanks for the suggestion!
