Can you 'pause' insurance?

Just wondering. My car's going to be off the road for the next 3-4 weeks so I figure it's worth a shot. I'm fully comp with Tesco.

You can with the admiral group, i'd imagine that most companies are the same.

Bah, just called Tesco. What a rip!. Basically you CAN 'pause' the policy, but you don't actually 'pause' it, the renewal date remains the same, and the month isn't added onto the end etc. Apparently the pause just "Removes the risk of losing your no claims". How I don't know. Anyway I've left it as it was.

How odd, gits.

Just pay. If your not driving it then theres less risk of you crashing and losing your no claims

lot of companies suggest this nowadays. wonder how it stands legally?

For 3-4 weeks I wouldn't bother trying, 3-4 months I would!
