Hey
I have 2x 22" monitors and I was wondering what would be the best way to run wow on both, if possible?
Cheers

This is what I do now basically, wow on left monitor, browsing on the right...

I know a lot of people use eyefinity GFX cards to make windows see both screens as one... not sure how well it would work for WoW tho?

I do what Shaye does with my 23 + 17".
I play in windows mode etc so i can just move from screen to screen easy. Not like MW2 where i have to alt-esc out.

WoW on 2 monitors would result in your character being in the middle split in half wouldnt it? I thought it would be better with a 3rd monitor as then your character isnt in half. You get me?

Run WoW on 1 and browse the Interwebs/pr0n on the other tbh

Yeah, it's the same with FPS games as well, the crosshair or main object is in the centre of the screen where the two bezels of each screen meet, if placed side by side :) .

I have read about people stretching the window across two screens put then adjusting the viewport so that it only sits on one screen, the advantage of this was they could move things like the chat windows off to the other screen

However it looked like more effort than it was worth

Yeah i played about with using viewport to strectch over 2 monitors. I found in end game raiding though i was missing important information with looking around 2 screens so ended up just keeping wow on 1 screen and using the second for browsing. But yes view port will work, it will even allow you to manipulate it so your toon is not on a bezel, though it may be tricky if u aint used to messing about with wow addons
