This list consists of parts I have, and what I want to add e.g motherboard and ram. Need a new case to put it in and wanting a midi case, price doesn't matter, but has to have power buttons hidden away as my 1 year old son keeps turning my current system on and off. Also will my power supply I have at the moment being only a year old still be ok for this build. And the ram with my CPU being skylake will I hit the 3000mhz on that motherboard I don't understand OC on motherboards and ram.

For the same money you could have a 1080. Not the best 1080, but in terms performance will be much better.

Please read original post this is my actual build the only new parts are the motherboard and ram that I will be buying, I just wanted to find a new case to put it all in as I want to change my case due to reasons posted above. Also wanted to know if the power supply is still ok and if the ram is compatible at 3000mhz with the motherboard due to only having a skylake CPU

I have the same problem and there's no way to cure that. most of open buttons, and if its behind a door, the kid will just open it and press it. I just turn the power supply off at the back of the case :) simple

two cases, different prices, both stunning. bequiet has RGB lighting on the side that can be linked to the Strix case, as well as be laid normally or upside down like the thetis to show off the GPU lighting , or have the car mounted vertically .

@oribitalwash thanks for that I like the raijintek very clean think I will go for that. Just can anyone answer about the PSU and question I have about the ram on that motherboard with my skylake CPU and I'm all set to go then

The psu isn't the best but it should be fine to use in that setup. You can see a review below.

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Cougar/GX-S550/

The ram should work just fine. The Z270 chipset can run 3000MHz ram or above depending on the board. That Z270H can run 3866MHz max. The B250 chipset for example can only run 2400MHz I believe. Just go into the bios when you boot up and enable the xmp profile.

just double check height of PSU, case is one of the smallest ATX there is, alumin and glass panels

just checked, same length as the one i used above so shouldn't clash with GPU

Thanks very nice build you have there Im thinking should I add a water cooler just for the aesthetics now

Any you would recommend bearing in mind later upgrade on CPU also how difficult are they to fit and is there any maintenance that comes with using one?

Should be plug and play . Most common one - silent one - and then on a budget - and finally Air cooler which performs better then cheaper AIOs , quieter then most AIO pumps and fans, and no worries if pump fails

So after been given a 75hz 32" 1440p freesync monitor i have decided to go the AMD way can you please check this build. GPU will be a vega 56 once i have sold my old system just need a case (midi) for it with a window to show it in its glory any suggestions. Want to keep to around the £900 mark so any changes are welcome.

If you after Strix/asus hardware and case to suit

I went over for super fancy case that has diffused RGB down the side, as well as the mobo tray can be used upright or upside down, GPU can also be mounted vertically but need a pcie extension cable - added phanteks RGB Fan covers and strips which can be linked to the board as well , and RGB Ram ....RGB EVERYWHERE!

keep costs down, Phnateks P300 case and 500GB SSD

way too much RGB for my liking thanks though i like the subtle look with a bit of light. Also i dont see any CPU cooler in this build???

Larger SSD, slimmer AIO since ryzen 1600 does run to hot and better PSU unit with longer warranty

would personally take 500gb ssd over nicer looking CLC, allows you to ditch SSHD which doesn't increase drive speed to much, unless you happen to load up the same program again and again .
both CLC are based on Asetek, NZXT being a newer generation with corsair having the latest pump model.
CAM software also doesn't like up to ASUS Aura - some people love NZXT CAM others hate it. Unit is solid design though and has subtle RGB elements
long as your card is shorter then 331mm then will work out nicely

@orbitalwalsh so you reckon this then i can stretch to that.
