Can you please check this list i have put together please

@Baz21226

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £930.08 (includes shipping: £13.20)

dropping to ryzen 1600 instead of 1600x which you'll over clock both to the same level, allows you to get the nicer NZXT AIO unit :)

would say dropping to 550w Focus unit saves £8 but 650w your better future proofed

might want to double check length of your GPU - phanteks site not the best with sizing, states 330mm max length, not sure with fan at front or without.

worst case, AIO 25mm fan and 30mm rad thickness would push max GPU length to 275mm

Stock or blower Vega cards are 270mm , after market ones are longer , Gigabyte Vega is the shortest of the custom cards at 273mm, dual 100m fans and triple slot design

double checked, looks like cards 290mm should fit in with AIO at the front - saw a aorus gtx 1080 fit in which is 293mm in length

give Customer service a call. Phanteks site isn't the best, and asus strix are extremely long compared to the rest

slightly more- but same quality, slightly longer and will house the card just fine, also option to mount up top

sorry, was going on the basis that you mentioned VEGA GPU and not Nvidia Strix card :(

Was about to say 1600 stock cooler would have done the trick at default till Vega goes in but X version is cooler less .
Switching to decent Air cooler above, bequiet or noctua would save some cash and allow large length GPUs .

Trying to recall off memory, silent loop 240 AIO ran 3.9ghz at 59c and on air was 75c odd using Shadow Rock Slim - did take a lot of voltage for my Non X 1600 :/

Big thanks to the people on here and at Overclockers for sorting this out. Cant wait for it to arrive now :p:p:p

Sorry, types and didn't see your post up.

Cooler master are solid cases. Fans should connect to your motherboard . Might be worth reading a quick review to see they connect up. Either have a controller that would plug into board or fans daisy chain off each other and go into the boards RGB header

If you've got a gtx 1070 Strix and 1440p 75hz screen, would just stick with that instead of getting Vega 56

Will read up, the only problem with keeping the 1070 is its a freesync monitor so the 1070 would only utilise 60hz of it. At 75hz you get frame skipping with nvidia cards

Edit: Found this @orbitalwalsh Now you are going to want to make sure you connect your fans. Each fan has two connections, one for power and one for RGB controls. Luckily Cooler Master include 3-to-1 splitters for each of these. The RGB connection is a normal 4-pin RGB connection so you can easily connect it to an RGB header on your motherboard. The fans are compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, and Gigabyte RGB Fusion.

Tried setting vsync on or frame cap at 74hz ? Might solve issues of stuttering .
I will try capping at 74hz but don't think you can do that in Nvidia Control Panel can you would need MSI Afterburner.
From what I've read is it due to a Nvidia card problem. Suppose to happen quite often on 75hz freesync monitors not just this one. I'm fine running it at 60hz at the minute but want that Vega to make most of my monitor and system

Doesn't sound good about this cooler master case a lot of people complaining about temps due to restrictive airflow getting in the front and no air escape from the top. Arghhhh

max 305mm with GPU and 240 aio installed.
Strix is 295mm

vega, in stock , triple slot cooler with dual 100mm fans

Max length 275mm - Gigabyte aint gonna bother with an Aorus version as they know most cards will be used for mining and receive fewer chips compared to AMD vendors only
thing even has heat pipe on the backplate haha

Thanks. I like the Win 101 do you know if the red light on front comes from a fan so could change to blue instead. Looks like I might be doing a trip to OC today

logo is RGB so link to board :)

  • RGB illuminated logo & USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C

3x 120 fan install points at the bottom- handy for cooling GPU down. also supplying cool air for AIO to expel out of the case

its starting to push the budget for cases a bit but IN WIN are a very very large case OEM - and their finish is excellent and have a habit of producing unique concept designs without having to worry about how much it costs to produce or the price tag it sets !

Got a friend who is going to modify my case later will see how that goes before I get another one. Time to build not looking forward to this. Its the most hi_tech build I've done with all the wires for RGB and also fitting the AIO not sure how it's done will have to look at YT
