It's broken at 800x600 (no one snigger!)

You have to scroll down - I accept that many people will thank that's OK but for a homepage I don't like it

I don't tend to bother about that these days, and nor do a lot of major sites - Facebook is wider than 800px, as are BBC News, Yahoo and YouTube. Designing to 800px is so limiting, and the tiny proportion of people still using 800x600 are gonna be getting used to broken sites!

800x600 was dropped as the standard by most people ages ago. It's 1024x768 now as that's what the majority of users have.

The nav doesn't fit at all - it looks like it's just been dropped there from some template.
