Can you print screen without using the print screen button?

You could script something to print screen after a set amount of time, continuously if needed and save to a preset location. I'm sure you could remap the key as well.
 
installing or changing or writing anything is probubly not possible, and I doubt the on screen kb would work.

Basically, I need to take some screenshots of an application we are installing on a GP practices computers to write the user guide documentation for them, but for reasons unknown the print screen button is set as the panic/emergency alarm button on their systems. Dont really fancy having the entire surgery rush to my aid every time I print screen! :)

Id asume this would also apply for the on srcreen kb, but wouldnt fancy trying it out.
 
Vista HP has that snipper tool in, Gimp has a timed screen capture function.

Why dont you have a print screen button?
