Can you read this?

04, very hard to tell, I see what you mean though chuck, could be a 1 if the line through the 0 comes outside the 0 and its not a 4 at all
 
tried seeing if I could sharpen up the edges quickly.

I'd be more inclined to say it's a 1 now but still not certain
