Can you really tell difference between mp3 and flac ?

I did the test and got 5 out of 6 correct, choosing 320kpbs on Katy Perry - Dark Horse.

I'm 35 in a few days, use HyperX Cloud Revolver headset and a Soundblaster Z sound card.

To me, on good quality headphones, the difference between 128kbps and FLAC, is disgustingly obvious, I avoid listening to 128Kbps wherever possible. It really sounds horrible compared to FLAC or 320Kbps, I am not exaggerating, it sounds horrible in comparison, once you know the issues with the compression, you will notice them all of the time.

I always assume people saying what you are referring to are meaning 320kbps. Anyone can notice 128kbps.
 
Only if the recording quality was really very good to begin with. I spent some time listening to various songs in 320 vs FLAC a little while back and most of the time the difference was undetectable. However it was slightly noticable with some Florence And The Machine tracks I had.

It also depends on your equipment, and your ears.
