Can you remove an Excel 2007 Work*sheet* password?

So I've forgotten the worksheet password I set on a work document a year ago and desperately need to be back into it.

Are there any ways to bypass this check / any freeware programs that do it?

Not gonna happen im afraid on 2007+ all you can do is brute force it using something like http://www.elcomsoft.com/aopr.html

Locked Worksheet or Locked for open?

There is paid software for the latter, some free stuff for the former. If you want free for an open password only thing available is brute force.
