Can you spec me some hard drives for my needs?

I have a HTPC with 4 internal drives. I'm running stablebit drivepool and all my movies and photos are stored across these drives.

I would like to add two other drives and unsure what to buy?... I want somey that runs cool.

I've noticed WD Red , but they seem super expensive and My HTPC is only used a couple of times a week for Plex movie streaming.

What to do you recommend?

WD reds are always the standard recommended.

If they're a bit expensive you could always buy some externals and shuck em.

Be careful with WD Red, they tend to use SMR now. Red Pro are still CMR.

Thanks... I've decided to spend out on proper Nas drives... Is there an alternative to red, that I should consider?

I want it to be good if a drive fails so has to be CMR

Yeah, all Ironwolf drives are CMR.
