I still have about 6 months of xbox live left, can i buy another 12 months to make it 18 or have i got to wait till it runs out ?
can you "top up" your xbox live ?

Pretty sure you can top it up before it runs out and it will just extend it, think it tells you somewhere along the process.
Don't think I've ever let mine slip into Silver, so must have extended it while it was still in it's current gold period.

Can top up to a maximum of 60 months/5 years
It won't let you past that because it knows when Skynet are going to make the first strike
